Patient Safety - Ensuring A Safe Healthcare ExperienceUMBH is committed to promoting an environment in which members have a safe experience with the health care system. Members need to be involved in and informed about their care and treatment. Communication is a very important factor in patient safety.
UMBH's QI program includes several activities that help promote patient safety, including coordinating the different components of your care to avoid miscommunications, providing information about using medications safely, and helping to resolve any complaints or concerns you have about your practitioner or other aspects of your care.
