- Over 700 providers, 30 hospital facilities and over 100 community mental health centers (CMHC) under contract in South Florida. UMBH far exceeds the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) access standards for both providers and facilities in South Florida.
- Fully compliant with National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). A full three year NCQA accreditation was granted in April 2003 and a full three year reaccreditation was granted in March 2006.
- Approximately 5000 calls each month to the UMBH Member Service center, each answered by a live attendant within an average of 36 seconds, and less than one percent of callers hang up before making contact with a representative.
- While only 10 percent of callers select the Spanish-language option, 84 percent of our Member Service staff is fluent in Spanish, as is 71 percent of our professional care management staff.
